Has anyone adapted a used hydraboost on a 69, and if so out of what car?

I have done it, as well as some other people. Check out carl casanova's web site. Unless you have very good fabrication skills I would not recommend it. It is NOT an easy weekend project: i probably have 100 hrs of work in mine between research and fabrication to make it look factroy clean, but the payoff is out-of-this-world brakes. Honestly, if I were to do it again I would just buy the Hydratech setup. You don't save more than maybe 150-200 dollars and theirs will bolt in with a couple beers worth of work.

I did my own. For the ease of no swearing, no phone calls, no headaches.... Your better off with Hydratech. However if your a junkyard rat.... Do it yourself :)

I fifth that, Paul is the only way to go. I tested 60-0 braking and came in at 135 ft.. That's with a C-5 braking system with hydra-boost.

Are you sure that you put your inquiry in to us here at Hydratech? We have a policy of answering each and every e-mail. If we did indeed miss your e-mail somehow, then I truly apologize!

FYI - When you are looking at our online listings, the "lineset delete" option = the assist unit itself without lines...
