i just pulled the transmission out of my trans am and found all this rtv on the case and it was still leaking fluid it's even on the shift tower if you look closley. After taking this picture i shook the input shaft to check for play and found about 1/8 inch of play but there was no problem while driving. When i drained the fluid out of it, it looked like someone was painting with a heavy metal flake candy red.
