I will say it was easier in HS and College when I had long hair and played bass in a band. Something about it really helped.

...actually I HAVE a guitar. I can only play one song on it, but that doesnt seem to do it for my wife. I think this little gold sphere on my finger acts as a counter balance to the strum of a semi-cheap 5 string.
