With staggered shocks like I think the 70s have, I believe you need two left calipers instead of a normal pair. (edit to be more specific: one of the calipers would be turned so that it faced away from the shock - just need to make sure that the bleeder screw is at the top)

Hopefully someone can give a definitive answer though.

The Left Side Caliper Is Where I Am Having The Problem. The Left Side Would Be The Drivers Side, And That Is The Side That The Shock Is Hitting The Caliper.

I think you need 2 right hand brackets, I have the LS1 parts but the rear end is sitting on the bench,

I've got a set of Z06 rear brakes with about 1,000 miles on them..came out of the rear end in the Cuda..

Yes, you will need to have two right side brackets to place it away from the shock. I had to do this with LT1 style rears on my 12 bolt. I would presume that c5 is the same, just the caliper body differs etc. It can make running the flex-lines a PITA. Other than that it should work. Rt side bracket should place the caliper on the front side of the rotor. I presume the stager on a 70 is same as a first gen. SS
