View Full Version : Pro Touring Bandit hits the streets!
We all think our projects take an inordinately long time. Starting with Hurricane Charley, and all the issues that followed it here in South West Florida, I would say completion is about 1 year overdue. But all things come to those who wait (and work).

Awsome, Those wheels look great! I like how you kept the S&B theme with the body, as well as with the gold wheels...perfect IMO. I still want to build a pro-touring T/A... one of these days. For now I'll stick with one project at a time.

Well...you basically built what I have been wanting to build for the last year or two. I wanted Kinesis K28's though, with black rims and gold centers, and tinted windows, and EFI...
Anywho, very nice car, please post many more pics, preferably in something bigger than 1280x1024 so I can put it on my desktop :)

I feel like such a "me too" guy now. Sounds like everybody is doing this car now. Oh well. And what's worse is that based on Trev's pics I got the same wheels. Liked 'em too damn much.
Oh well, compared to the number of people doing 68/69 camaros, it's still pretty damn unique! :)
FYI, on the wheels, I found them cheaper than the site Trev mentioned in a different thread (on transamcountry). Here's where I got mine:
http://www.autornd.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=14_8861&products_id=117&osCsid=3e5af723202bc98f34d0ec598974ca0d
And the bonus deal was that the shop is only 5 minutes from where I work and he gave me an even better deal than what's on the site!

that bird looks sick, and i like the wheels, wish they had the snowflakes in 17". My 79 will be kinda like that but instead of black its gonna be NBM with the blue decals. And i dont got the money for the subframe or anything that expensive, so I gotta go on the cheap.
