This may seem like a very basic question, and I feel kinda stupid asking it. I am swapping on an '02 Camaro SS disc setup at all four corners of my '87 Monte Carlo SS. I know I need to use an adjustable proportioning valve for the rear, but I'm not sure what I do about the OE combination valve. Do I have to bypass it, or do I still rout the rear line through it? Thanks for the help.

I would go without the factory proportioning valve, just use an aftermarket adjustable valve in the rear line.

I have some explanation of what the factory valve does and used to recomend that they be used, but many have gone without it with no problems. If you will drive on snow or ice, a metering valve is good to have. Read about it on my web page below.
