Ooohhh, that poor, poor Skylark. Brings a tear to my eye to see someone ruining their Buicks like that.

WARNING!!! THIS MIGHT BE THE FUTURE! I've seen a couple of these in different magazines now... apparently the lowering of cars and the increase in rim size availability has spawned a movement born of resentment and resemblance. What would Hegel, Adorno, and Deleuze and Guattari say?

if this is the future ill go back to the past and build a pro streeter. we have an "expo" here in indy every year and these cars show up from everywhere. ive checked some of them out and the majority have gooey looking metal flake paint and crappy bodywork and of course 20" minimum wheels usually 7 inch wide with the 4x4 look. my favorite is the $3000 wheels on an $800 car.

thats all i see running around here in daytona. watched one guy almost (inside wheels were in the air) roll his caprice over. he was turning the corner here in front of my store and he was only doin about 15 when he turned. most of the guys that live here though tried em and went back to stock 15 inchers when they realized how bad the car is to drive like that. although one dude had a 4 door mid 80's regal and put nerf bars on it so he could climb in.

These things are everywhere around here. Most of them originate in the "hood"

While I agree they look ridiculous, at least they're not ricers. Better to have kids into goofy cars (ricers and Dubmobiles) than not into cars at all. Everytime I'm out in one of my cars and I talk to these young folks (at gas station, resturants, red lights) they've got nothing but nice things to say about my cars. Maybe we can convert 'em. You know, the old "hearts and minds " bit..........
