Roughly how much can one expect to save swapping out a BB engine in favor of an all aluminum LS engine with a Rack and Pinion set up?

Weights for the BBC and LS1 are available (I can google if you'd like) but I don't know what sort of weight the R&P will save - plus the tranny weights are different.
Iron-heads/manifold/exhaust on the BBC?

LS1: 390lbs (http://www.smokemup.com/tech/ls1.php)
BBC: 685lbs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Big-Block_engine)
Take both of these weights with a grain of salt though.
