I have a 1978 Trans am, I am thinking of putting the Martz Road Race Style Rear suspension under my car. I saw that it was used in a white second generation camaro in the new PHR. Anyone have any experience with this, is it worth the money. A little background, while I most probably have the skills and know how to manage to do an entire custom rear end that is "better", I really don't want to put up with the time and BS taking my car apart for that long. I am interested in this, because it is a "kit", and should be relatively easy to install. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the thread, I talked to this guy via e-mail, he hasn't driven it yet, although he did provide some quality information. Anyone else actually use it.

It SHOULD be terrible!
Look at the rear links, the angles should cause binding in roll resulting in a huge oversteer problem.

What is the SVSA of this system, it appears to be very short. I also did not see a very good method of controlling lateral movement, did I miss the PHB? The links do not appear to converge enough to provide adequate control. On re-inspection I see the PHB, albeit the shortest one I have ever seen.

Also it looks like both links are below the axle centerline. Would that not create undo stess on the welds in both braking and acceleration?
