I took the '69 over to Motorsport Technologies last night for some baseline dyno runs. I'm happy to have achieved my original goals of 500/500 on pump gas! I had some leaks around the header collectors (damn slip-on flanges) and it was messing with my O2 sensor readings. I'll weld that up tomorrow and take it back for some more dyno tuning.

506 rwhp @ 5500 rpm
501 ft-lbs @ 4500 rpm

The setup is making over 400 ft-lbs already at only 2000 rpm. TORQUE!

Haven't got to drive the car yet, still need an alignment and I need to raise the front end some (and lower the rear some). The tires rub on any sort of body weight transfer. Looks cool, but sucks for driving.

Here are some photos of how the car sits.

If you can make it to the Year One Commerce Challenge next weekend, you will get to see the car in person! Oct 8-10. It will be in the Year One booth.

For sure Steve, I'm kicking myself in the ass for not going with coil-overs in the first place. Damn front end is too low and the tires rub when I hit the smallest bump or throttle it.

Too bad I can't take that extra inch from the rear and put it up front. DOH!!

Where is the Year One Commerce Challenge at? I'm in College Station and would definitly try and make it a weekend trip if possible. I'd love to check out that car in person! It looks very nice in the pics and cant wait to see it after you get the stance you want it.

Whoops i'm not sure i can go...I just looked up the event and i seems like it might be a little far for a couple of college kids to make in a weekend trip.

LOL i guess a 35th camaro is...ok....JK

While porsche is euro i wouldn't call them all slow...Well you will be driving a 500/500 hp/tq muscle car...maybe it is kinda slow :hammer:

Cant wait for a video!

Trade you my coil-overs for your magnacharge ;)

The coilover system is not very expensive.. $1000 tops.. DS&E has a new system out also..

Have you thought of QA1's or Hals? You could then adjust the shocks to be stiffer.. rougher ride but might help..

VERY good job Tony. You gotta come over for some of that California Wine Country cruising up here. It looks good, sounds good, and seems to be down right mean. I like it a lot.

What size tire wheel/backspacing are you running in the front?

Is the tire hitting the outside inner fender?
