What are you looking for? Bolt-on only? are you capable of fabrication?

i think i might go with global west and qa1 coilovers for ride height adjustment, or go with just hotchkis dont know which one yet. and is there any other companys that would offer 4 wheel disc breaks besides baer? baer is like 2500.

Hotchkis or Global West are very good choices for a street car. If you want to look at some good brakes, check out our site sponsorPrecision Brakes Company (http://www.precisionbrakescompany.com/).

Hotchkis or Global West are very good choices for a street car. When talking about Camaros, you may be right, but for A-body cars, they leave a lot to be desired.

Both use tall-spindles - read about them here: http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117245

and Hotchkis's rear suspension package uses poly bushings - again, read here:

I would recommend taking a look at:

http://www.scandc.com/

Take a look at their street comp 2 package:

http://www.scandc.com/suspensions.htm

This is, IMO, a significantly better thought-out package than the Hotchkis or Global West packages with B-body spindle, which has serious issues as pointed out in the links from Derek69SS, and also on the scandc site:

http://www.scandc.com/faqs.htm

Marcus, the owner, is seen on this site fairly often, and has the right ideas for setting up rear A-body suspensions as well. Give him a ring, he's a good guy to talk to. All told, you can have a very good handling car for much less than $5K.

As for brakes, there are a number of places providing C5 Corvette-based conversion kits, which will give you better brakes than the C4-based Baer Track brakes for significantly less money, with better parts availability to boot. I'm not sure whether any of them are sponsors, but Google is your friend.

Edit: I see Touring Classics (www.touring-classics.com) is a sponsor. Looks like about $850 for C5 front brakes and $750 for PBR rear.
