View Full Version : 69 F-body 17x9.5 on front- anyone?

Im (still)building a 69 firebird with stock subframe , ATS spindles 12.7"c5 front brakes G/W upper control arms - I am wanting to fit a 17x9.5 up front - has anybody fit this size up frt on a 69? im thinking like 5.5" B/S
just asking to get some ideas- I think this will work - any experience ? or opinions on this . or am i just nuts? :hammer:

There are tons of entries for '69 Camaro....the wheelwell dimensions are the same no?

there are only 2 with the 9.5" and both those are with C4 frt suspensions mine is modified stock and all B/S are with a ?
that why i posted this thread , i even posted in the sticky for that thread wanting some more info on a need to know basis- I NEED TO KNOW :geek:
Carl C had done it on his 67 - I readup on that i wonder with the taller ATS spindles that it probably wont work - can try when i get that setup on wish me luck :jump:
