Just wondering how you found this section of the world?
I was looking for pics of 66 Chevy 2 Novas. I ended up finding the Yellow 66 that DSE was working on. While I was in there I found a couple 69 Camaros. One of them was Mark Stielow's Mule. I started searching for the "Mule"then somehow came across the word "Pro-Touring" car. I did a search on Pro-Touring and I have been here since that day! :) :woot:

Tony Huntimer turned me on to it.

He suggested that I send Larry some pics of my 67 about 3 years ago that made it to the site.

I had just picked up a project camaro (67), so I was looking for pictures of completed cars.
Do a google image search for 67 camaro, the first one that pops up is Rene Kooger's 67 Camaro from Pro-touring. I checked it out since it looked to have Alpina rims on it. I have been here since.....

I honestly can't remember how or why. I am certain I was probably looking for something else. You find the coolest things on the 'net when you're not looking for them.

Early 2002 surfing, book marking, then... I discovered it, and finally registered in later 2002. I thought cool, there are others out there who have the same views on vehicle architecture.

In 1990 I had already deposited a ZF 6 speed in a 69 Camaro, a daunting task but man, what a killer combo. I had that car for 3 years.

I am very impressed with the direction and creativity that this website has gone. Great question Adam.

In I think '98 or early '99 I was surfing and found a link to pro-touring.com on Jim's Cormaro site...never left since. It is amazing how the site and PT community has grown in just a few years!

Pretty funny, I was already planning on building a pro-touring '69 and posted my ideas on LS1TECH and a bunch of members over there pointed me over here.

I spent HOURS drooling over all the sweet cars in the cars section. I was hooked.

I was looking for this car:

https://www.pro-touring.com/featured_cars/Camaro/1969_Camaro/matt_sniscak_69_camaro/sniz1.jpg

I found it in a google search for 69 camaro pictures and remembered the word Pro-touring, on his site so i was searching and this site popped up. Been here a few years now. I think the mule (i know i know original huh) is the car that turns me onto pro-touring the most but to be honest it is that car that got it all started. Anyone know if the owner posts on here? It's in the cars section.

I've been around for years, I just finally got motivated to sign up when the latest round of changes took place.
I've been building Trans Ams of the "Pro-Touring" build style since the '80's. H~O Racing was always a huge proponent of handling and acceleration/stopping. I instantly took to their philosophy. :drive:

I found Larry's car at the Camaro Axis Network and at the time he was was just getting this sight up and running.

It's been amazing the people who have randomly showed up here from places that I started out at. I first ran into Dave Pozzi at the Camaro Reseach Group website. I have had some realy good conversations there with Dave that will always be memorable.

Martin's car comes up next to mine at the Camaro Axis Network the last time I was there. Even the computer search engines hook you up to this sight if you just click the right things that are of interest to building a great car.

A friend showed me a mag with the Mule buildup and I knew then that I would go for the massive tires on my car. I Google searched g-machine and found this site, back in May 2002 I think. Just got the car back on the ground with the completed rear suspension (rollable and super-stiff, only moves about1/4" when my 200lb ass pushes hard, but I'm used to that) for the first time in 28 months. This site has allowed me to continue striving for my dreams with this car (owned for over 19 years already) so thanks to everyone who participates, the group knowledge is astounding!!!

I first found Camaro, Untold Secrets, they mentioned the Camaro Research Group site, then found Team Camaro as it was mentioned. Someone posted about the Pro-Touring.com site, but it was just starting and not a lot of posting was going on at that time. The free forum software was not very appealing either but we've come a long way!
