Hello all,
I registered here a couple of months ago but this is my first post. For the past few years, I've been restoring (still under construction) an '81 Trans Am Daytona Pace Car but last year I added a pretty nice '69 Firebird to the stable. The car was 100% stock with the original 350. A few months ago, I swapped in a Pontiac 400 that I built a long time ago for the Pace car.
Today, I picked up some Boyd Smoothies (not a Boyd fan, but like the wheels) in 17's for the front and 18's for the rear. Will try to put them on this weekend.
Basically, I'm just getting started turning the '69 into a G-machine/Pro-touring car. I live on a small mountain just outside Birmingham, Alabama and really wanted something that would handle these curves nicely.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Hopefully I can turn my car into a ride as nice as some that I've seen here.
Also, I have a website for my car which you can check out in the link below. It's still under construction too and I haven't added the info for my Pace Car yet but will asap.
