Hey guys, been lurking for a while but thought I woud go ahead and introduce myself. First off I seem to be a glutten for punishment. I was/still am building a 76 vette. Going pro touring with it. Right now it is drivetrainless, interiorless and media blasted. Needless to say I still have alot to do. that being said I just picked up a 67 Camaro. Its drivable (when i put it back together) but needs some work. I picked it up from a friend of mine after I couldn't talk him into keeping it. He was in a little fender bender a while back and bought all the replacement parts for it but never put it back together for some reason. So, I have everything to get the back back to normal. I promised myself that I wouldn't do anything untill the vette is done but I did pull the 67 out today and played with it and took some pics to show how it was when I first got it. Even put the 17s that I have for my vette on it to see how it looked. Below are some links to look at the cars if anyone wants. I really dont' have any good ones of the vetteon the net but will upload some later. I'm glad I found such a good resource to help me in during these 2 projects. Maybe one day I can have them as nice as I see some of the cars on here.

Welcome. Nice find on the Camaro, it sucks that had to be the way to get in a way.. but in a way it doesn't! Heh.
It looks like it's in pretty good condition. The 17s look good on it, too. Then again, I'm a sucker for pro-stars as well. Are you going to go more PT with the Camaro as well?

yea, I'm going to eventually go a more pro touring direction with it. I think I'm gonna do just enough to get it back on the road though so I can enjoy it like it is while I do the vette. They guy I bought it from has already told me he gets first dibs if I ever decide to get rid of it. I told him there's no way I would sell that car for XXXX(price I paid him)..someone would have to be out of their mind to sell that..lol. The look on his face was priceless. hey, if you can't jab at your friends what fun would they be?

looking at the cars that have been completed is the only thing that keeps me going..lol. I know I have alot of work to get both cars close to what I want them to be. But hey, I love building em as much as I love driving em....guess thats a good thing in my situation.

What type of wheels are those 17's? That's the style I'd like to run on my '68. They kind of remind me of the Trans Am style used in the '60's.

Stewy, they are 17" TTIIs that have had the center spokes painted. It kinda give it the old school look which I think is kinda cool.
