I have Global West upper and lower control arms up front with their small-block springs. The problem is that the front of the car sits higher than in the back. I can adjust on the back no problem and raise it with the screw-jacks. I plan on switching the lower control arms for coil-over units. Will this be enough to lower the car? Will lowering spindles from ATS or Heidt's coupled with the coil-overs be overkill or just right? I need to find out so I can order the front brakes.

Of the two spindles mentioned, your only choice would be the ATS spindle for a performance application. They took into account all the variables effecting suspension geometry of the first gen with their design. To further answer you question, both spindle and coilovers may be overkill. You can achieve your desired ride height with coilovers alone. However, you will have better geometry with the taller ATS spindle.
