View Full Version : Just Bought A '78 Malibu...
Been checking out this board for a couple days now. Looks like a very informative site. Looking forward to gathering info on tire & wheels, etc.
Thought I'd post a pic of my car for your entertainment.
Thanks

Nice to see another G-body. There is a THREAD in the Open (Pro-touring) Discussion called "Any G-Bodies out there". You might want to check it out. Its a list of some of us here with a description of what we have and other pertinent information regarding G-bodies. Thanks for joining. By the way, where are you located?

Welcome aboard! Nice to have another G-body along for the ride. :)
Thanks for the welcome. I've been away from the car scene for a long time. Mostly been involved with 4x4's. This is the first small block Chevy car I've ever had. Owned a couple Mustangs long ago & have been more of a Ford guy than Chevy but I've really taken a liking to this car. I'm located up in the Northwest. I'm trying to figure out a tire & wheel combo. I am a bit overwhelmed with the choices available these days. I remember Centerlines & BFG TA's being the hot set up. I found that thread that CRCRFT78 mentions the other day & read through most of it. Anyone know how big I can go with tires & rims on this car? Or a link to sizes? I found one post but the Malibu section was blank still.
Thanks
~JM~
P.S. Anyone here running a big block in a Malibu?
