I need some measurements off a "B" or 1970-up "F" body spindle. Specifically I need overall height (top of UBJ boss to bottom of LBJ boss), pin height (center of spindle pin to bottom of LBJ boss), pin depth (measure with a straight edge against the spindle NOT the seal surface edge and eyeball center of the UBJ and center of the LBJ- should be like 2" and 3" or something).

Speedfreak, what was your issue? Lower balljoint taper too big/small? Outer bearing didn't fit? Tierod taper different? All this can be fixed using different parts off the shelf...
Dennis, if your other deals fall through, I have a set of wagon spindles with 12" brakes I can measure on...

i had ordered spindles for a '78 bonneville.the spindles i got were shorter and had a smaller pin Dia....my 12" disks wont fit....called the company after i figured this out, they had them listed as being for a Bonneville G..which ive never heard of.Maybe a g-body variant??..actually for a 79-81 camaro....im eventually gonna compare them to my fathers Monte if they are the same ill use them on that but they wont fly on my Bonny..im stuck with them now cause i had them powder coated and ball joints reamed for a Chrysler stlye screw in ball joint..anyone that might be interested in these let me know....

Speed...I need the numbers to add to my web site sowing why NOT to use "B" body spindles on an "A" body. Also good for comparison to the Coleman pieces I am going to run instead.

Speedfreak: The company you have ordered from has messed up. It sounds like you have gotten 78-87 G-body/S10 spindles (~7.5" tall right? The tall spindle should be ~8-7/8"), and on these only 10-5/8" discs fit. They also use the same inner bearings, but the smaller outer ones. Actually - if you had gotten those ment for '79-81 F-body, your discs still wouldn't fit - as they only had 11" discs. I wonder if the BellTech spindles for the 94-96 Impala SS take 11" or 12" discs, as BT claim they fit 91+ Caprice as well, and the Impalas have 12". The same applies to the lower balljoint taper, as there was a redesign in '95.5, and they got the big balljoints from the '73-76 Impalas - MOOG K6141 (Same taper as mopar screw-in?)
Dennis, I'm terribly sorry for the off-topic/thread hijack, I just hope sharing our information makes something good coming out of this. I'm looking forward to reading more about this on your homepage, and I've seen some updates in the last months.
