Has anyone tried cooling from the head down-exhaust side between the ports? And exiting from the block-sides or front sans Smokey Yunick? I plan on using a Meziere remote pump so plumbing will be all custom any thoughts on water flow?

I'm working on a 406 right now and for cooling I plan to run AN fittings from the middle of the heads to the thermostat housing as a by-pass to shed combustion heat quicker. It's a good idea to do so on about any motor but on a 0.40+ 400 SB it's extra insurance. -Jabin
