I am looking at a motor out of a Cadillas CTS. IT is a 2004. I am assumming very similar to anything I might get from an F-body or vette, but I hate to assume. Does anyone have any info on this?

If its the V8, then its an LS6. The front accessories and oilpan are specific to the Caddy, but everything else is exactly the same as the Corvette motor.

I was also looking at one, but did some research and found out they have very
heavy harmonic balancers also which robs power. I found the above info to be true also.Check out www.ls1tech.com under the cts section lots of info. After all the changes I would have to do the ls6 wasn't such a great deal.
