DSE template info

I am leaving for my body shop early in the morning to drop off all the templates for my mini tub and my question is....I have printed them off on legal paper size (8.5"x14") and just want to make sure they are to scale.If anyone has these handy please take a quick measurement of template #8 and let me know what the overall length is in inches so we can compare.Please help

I tossed mine after I finished my tubs, but it seems that they were all to scale. I know I did not use all of them and made some different closeouts for some areas. They seemed as more of a guide than a absolute.

I made all custom closeouts when I did my mini-tub. Much easier than following the templates, and in the end it was probably quicker as well. If any of your templates don't line up, the body shop will be able to make custom ones, it's not really difficult.

If I remember correctly, they were really close, and I cut mine out with an oxy/acetylene torch vs. a plasma cutter or a cutoff wheel.

I used a wide array of tools, but the 'ol sawzall came in handy quite a bit. Bosch jig saw worked real well, too. I've got to get my oxy bottles filled..
