I have the Touring-Classics Hybrid Front and Rear Disc Set Up.
I recently ordered a narrowed Ford 9". Here's the problem...The Touring-Classics Rear Kit is set up for a 10 or 12 bolt with C Clips.
Solution--use Ford Big Bearing with Moser GM Bearing Housing (same bolt pattern for Caliper Mount). Open up caliper mount to slide over bearing. Machine 'shims' to act as bearing retainers...Finish off with Ford Style Bearing retainer.
Do you have any other ideas?

I like what you did....as a matter of fact that is exactly what I was thinking of doing....Oh wait, I did do it.

I realize that this is an old thread BUT!!!!
do you have any pictures of this setup? I am trying to decide what to do with my setup... I have a 9" with the Torino Big bearing ends and want to use the LS1 rear disc setup that i have sitting around. does anyone currently make a backing plate that will mat to the big bearing end and still retain the ls1 drum PB inside of the 12" disc?
FWIW< im really just finding out what my options are..... I have looked on the Kore3 site and they dont have anything listed as of yet but i know that they frequent this board...

Kore3 has that setup...just not on their website yet. I spoke with them 3 weeks ago. Give them a call...good customer service. The LS1 is basically the same as C5 just the disc bracket is longer for a little longer disc pad. Kore3 will clear that up for you.

Thanks, DenverVet
Ill give them a call and go from there... I figured they had something out there for my application or one similar.
Thanks again!

The LS1 setup and KORE3 C5/C6 rear parking brake setups are similar in that they're both 190mm PBR Banksia drum-in-hat style parking brakes, but that's about where the similarities end. While we have kits for the Ford 9 BBT housing, it wouldn't use any of the LS1 components you have. I'm sorry to say that I don't think we have what you're asking for, assuming I understood the question correctly, but please feel free to call and discuss further if you like.
