Well here I go. My budget to build my car is always getting smaller, happens to all of us. Well I've been talkin with a guy through e-mail for a set of LT headers for quite some time.... I saw them in a post so I e-mailed him. I keep on talking to him and ask for a shipping quote. Then in the thread some '**** tard 8 post wonder' comes in and puts his name on them and says that he's sending a money order out at 3pm. Well wtf dude, just because I didn't post doesn't mean I wasn't in line before you. I am completely pissed off right now. SON OF A BITCH!

Well good news! The seller was very honest and knew that I was the one that called first dibs. Mr. 8 postwonder got put in his place. Like the old saying. You can never make an honest person from a dishonest person.

Well not to be an A** but someone has to play devils advocate.

Now MR 8 post wonder (?) has been bullied by MR 580 post wonder out of a set of headers. Not saying you didnt have a right to them.

Lastly
You where an 8 post wonder at one point so please dont be beating up on potential positive contributors and a potential customer of our fine sponsors.

Bullied? I didn't take it that any bullying or even any conversation between 8 and 580 ever took place.

I don't see that any LT1 headers are anywhere recent in the classifieds so my guess would be that this is on another board and Mr. 8 never saw this post.

However, I'm not too sure where the honest/dishonest thing went; it doesn't sound like there was any way for 8 to know that someone else was working a deal on the headers. Not sure how he was "put in his place" either. If it was anything more than a "sorry dude, they're already spoken for" then I think it was a bit excessive.

Of course, not having seen the post, I've got no room to make any judgements.

Apparently I work differently then some members. I come from a straight up and honest family. I don't take kindly to people screwing me over. I'm not a push over, I'm not claiming that any of you are, so do not get upset about be saying this.

You are right I had 8 posts at once. But you know? I wasn't selling parts, I wasn't buying parts, I was becoming familiar with the people on the site. Obviously you can tell that I'm here to stay, Its people that come to a site, mess up everyones hair then go away.

I think those who have replied are simply trying to state that since the 8 post wonder had no clue what you were working in the background, he didn't know know about ANYONE having "dibs" on the headers. If this were not the case, and he still tried to pry his way in or out-bid you, then there is definitley something to be upset/rant about.

I forgot to mention I guess. I saw his post, I posted and said that I was talking to him through e-mails, listed my e-mail address and said that I was in line but did not post that I was doing so. Even after I did so, I got the "Money order is being sent out" reply. Thats what pissed me off.

I guess its all hear say really. SOO much is said outside of public viewing. It was all through e-mail and PM's.

I sorta see your point and clearly none of us were privy to any of the background discussion, but if I'm selling something you can write all the emails you want, but if somone else hands me the cash first he gets the parts......sorry.

Devils Advocate is good for fishing for left out info like the background discussions notes by others.
I in no way felt you where wrong just needed more info to see if I even cared.
