Can anyone shed any light on the available options for insuring a PT G-machine, that will probably spend its life as a weekend cruiser, with an occasional track day in the future. I am VERY close to having her finished so I want to tie up the loose ends of getting her registered and insured again after a 4-5 year vacation.

Any type of classisc insurance, do an internet search. Go for something that will not limit your yearly mileage too much, but stay away from Haggerty. They jerked my brother-in-law around when his Monte SS got stolen on the Power Tour last year. They didn't pay him for five months.

you dont have it insured yet? i keep my car on storage insurance, if there was a fire or something its always good to have it covered. about $100 a year. its always funny getting quotes. how many cylinders is it? zero.

I use Hagerty. The combined total value between my 69 Camaro and our 67 Mustang is $20,000. For full coverage and no deductible I only pay about $30.00 a month or around $360 for the year.. Absolutely amazing!!! :thankyou:
....And they know I race the car.
