Tires

I,am trying to put a 20x8.5 wheel on a 68 camaro. I had these wheels on a 69 and looked good. On a 68 the wheel is to for out. I want the tire under the car. I think I can do these by shorten the axle by 1 inch on each side. Has anyone tried these.

What is the offset Mark?

The differance in the fender shape on the 67/68 and the 69 is the difference. I am sure the off set is different for the 68. Just sell me those wheels or I will trade you something....lol

I think the backset is 3.5 I will check tomorrow. I took the axle out and have the tire set where I want it and it will work if I cut the axle 1'' on each side.

i'm sure it has more BS than 3.5.......you can send the axle off and have it shortened very easily though...moser can do it along with all the other axle companies
