Are you guys talking about the black '68 with the realistic-looking double stripe flame job? I thought I saw that car several times when they were panning over the crowd and cars in the tent.

That's funny, I though he said something like he was never gonna get rid of it now that it was soooo beautiful. Did this come across sarcastic and bitter (that I'm not rich too) well, it's not bitterness, just plain jealousy. While I like to watch the show, I don't think I would want them to modify my car without my inputs. Then it wouldn't be mine so much, now would it. I love what they turn out, but you just never know if it will match what you wanted when it comes from your "insider" I guess it really depends on how well your "insider" knows you. Just my 2 cents.

i have noticed many of the cars they do end up for sell.i wonder the true ownership of the cars,or if chip just brings in cars to do,with a cast of actors playing the owner.

Prodigy, why do you think that? Because they didnt go with the C4 suspension? It looks awesome in the pictures and in the show.
But why have they mounted other wheels? Looked better before

I think Ian didn't like it either.
He want the car built a certain way and it wasn't really his vision.
If you remember the show there was a bit of a fight over the rear suspension in that car. They built the car in 7 days and the quality probably just wasn't there, and Ian is a car guy so he probably decided to just get rid of it and build one the way he wants to.
