Yeah tht car is nuts :hail:. But I must point out that is the issue of phr that turned me on to the whole pro-touring idea. It happened to be a little gold 68 Camaro that swayed my taste towards a diffrent style of cars.

That would probly convince me even more to want a 4L60E and paddle shift(i'm kinda on the fence right now). Oh and thanks again for your help you just reminded me I need to sign up for the power tour. I cant wait because a bunch of guys from my town are going this year and I will get to meet more great pro-touring.com people.
And I'm holding you to the test drive, because I got in it writing :here!:

the car has been a strip/street car,the rear end is basicly a pro mod 4 link, before i detuned the 710 it run.4.8's in the 1/8th.now its going back to a very bad street only car.i am deciding between giving it a pro street look with the new m/t radials.or more of a pro touring look with some 305/50/20's.i also have some 345/35/18's.
but it will be fun on the street, and unlucky guy,is going to wanta race and he's gone get a huge surprise.

Yeah more torque at idle than most street engines have at peak. We had to run Nitto NT404's, since our plan for a modern pro-street car was 3 years ahead of the MT's existence. No one knew what the hell we were doing.
Onlookers:"......Martinsville brakes? ARDF clip? Pro Street rear? Nothing sticking thru the hood. What is it?"
Us: "It's Pro-Street that, uhh.....you know.....doesn't suck."
We bought a set of Pirelli Scorpions for mock up. 325-60x17 I think. The tread pattern was too off-road looking for a hot rod. No-one had the chance to tell Michael Bartone that the Scorpions were gonna just be used for mock-up. Typical Michael went out an bought eight pairs of tires the next day. He knew his brother would blow right thru the first pair, so he got extra. EIGHT PAIRS. Shoulda seen the look on his face when we told him we didn't like the tread pattern on the Pirelli Scorpions, so we'd be switching brands.
hey steve. whats that other car doing in the picutres? hehe man thats a killer ride and 705 cuin. wow! impressive for sure.

We shot the two cars together and separately. What a day. Finish car at 4:30AM. Shoot cars at 6:00AM. Cam Evans flew in world class photographer Rich Chenet.
I'm gonna beat the crap out of my car this summer and then tear it apart and start over. Time for a change.

my motor is a little wild than that one but this now,to .bigger heads, cam, martin throttle bodies, should make around 1100 hp.i have had it running on the test stand.

My ex-GF threw out that issue.
I drew a lot of inspiration for my build from Steve and Tony's cars.
