Damn Steve- do you owe Hunkins some major cabbage, or what? I noticed your name all over the March 06 issue; they must be keeping you very busy...

PS- more pics of Penny!

I owe him?? lol.. I think they owe me a bit for that one.. There were also several sections I wrote that I didn't slap my name on.. I think it just happened that I wrote almost half the edit in that issue.

Also, The Nova feature was my first feature where I took the photos. I'm no Hunkins yet, but I thought they came out ok for a newbie (except the motor shot that I really didn't care for)

Some are more and some months are less.. I have a huge story in the next issue (April) but no big story in May.

Thanks for noticing my contributions, hope you enjoyed the read :)

There are a couple of current Penny pics in the Projects area. I am going to work on her tomorrow so I will snap a few new ones. Thanks again..

Maybe we could do a special "picture only" version for our "special needs" readers?

A seperate "photo annual" similar to what Surfer Magazine does once a year would be great. Particularly if it combined photos from shoots in all the hot-rod related Primeda magazines.

I also noticed your name all over the issue... Seems they might need a couple more staffers. I mean if you or Hunkins go lame, that's like 75% of the rag... BTW, congrats for having an impressive rookie year going.

Steve -

Have been getting PHR for a long time, but like the recent issues a lot more. So if I represent your average 95 year old female island refugee with implants and food stamps, then you have nailed it !! LOL
:yeah:
Seriously, Nice Job.

Was supposed to be this month (May) but will be next one due to news about the Camaro and Challenger..

Soon we will have much more room :look:

Hey Steve, Nice article on the Torino. I have never been to big a fan of those cars but I liked that one a lot. It's nice to see some different stuff in the mag.

Me being a Mustang guy I'm a little embarrassed by the Mustang II years but, I'm sure if it's in your magazine it has to be pretty cool.

I couldn't agree more, but maybe that's because I'd kill to work at a hot rod mag!

I just got this issue as the first of my subscription (through my neice's girl scout magazine subscription fundraiser). Very nice. I liked the editorial/open letter to GM & Chrysler in the beginning. And the site meet/dinner at SEMA.

G28 drew me in, even though I can't figure out the cost/benefit of that air ride system. :)

There is no "cost benefit" to the Air Ride system.. Then again there is really no cost benny to most stuff we do to our rides. If you want the flexability of an Air Ride system (being able to easily change the stance of your ride and the spring rate) and you have the coin then it's a good option. The main point of the story ended up being that you don't have to give up performance to have air springs on your car. Props to ART for being willing to put their stuff to the test.

Thanks.. it was a bit daunting at first, but I think my writing is getting better.. I had to laugh at the thread title as well.
