Well, the body is back on the frame, now have to get everything for the firewall assembled. Next the inner fenders and core support. Hopefully end of next week we will start fabbing the turbo system.

very cool tom.... Glad to see the wheels fit! :smoke:

Twin turboed huh? very nice!

actually looks like I can fit bigger meats on there. There is about 2" on the outside of each wheel before the inner quarter. I have 305's on those 18's.

Looks good, Tom. That car is going to be killer when complete -- it's great to see some "different" cars being built.

THANKS!

I loved my 69 Camaro, but this one has more room for the wife and kids.

Tom, I am completely digging it!! Did you run into any major obstacles on bagging it? I am about to do a '58 and was just curious. Are you running a RidePro-E or something else? If the turbo install turns out like the rest (which I have no doubt it will), that car is gonna be sweet!:twothumbs

Yes, out of the Box Air Ride stuff. Everything went in as advertised. I havent installed the compressor or electronics for it, but it appears all is straight forward. We are going to make a mounting "shelf" that is suspended by the deck lid hinge braces for that stuff. There are holes in it already, and should support the weight nicely. I do not want to make any more holes than needed. The big 2.2" hole in the firewall for the Big Stuff 3 was enough..

I will post more pics as soon as we get some more progress.

Well, through the 4L80E and 9", we are expecting 700+ RWHP with the twins on the 370" iron LS1 motor. I want to go 10's on pump gas :git:

I know with this chassis it will never be a "G" machine, but with the bags, and 13" brakes, it should handle and stop descent.

I love the direction you chose with your project But I agree you maybe need a 12" rim to bring the back wheels out closer to the body. Don't get me wrong it looks very cool.
