Hi All,

I am installing a Rear T/A Cover on my 12 bolt rear end, however I want to switch and use Stainless bolts over the allen bolts that came with the cover. As the allen bolts tend to rust.

Does anyone have a bolt they recommend? or Recommend a different diff cover?

I Ordered the ARP https://arp-bolts.com/kit/612-1500, however the head is a bit too big for the cover hole, as the T/A cover has a recessed bolt opening.

Three ways to go about it. Ask ARP if they have bolts with the correct head (and they might be able to make you some), find a machine shop and see if they can mill the seats on the bolts you have down a bit to fit in the hole, or pick up some stainless washers that will fit inside the holes.

.....or just buy allen bolts in stainless. https://www.mcmaster.com/products/cap-screws/socket-head-screws-2~/system-of-measurement~inch/material~stainless-steel-2/stainless-steel-socket-head-screws~~/
