Hey everyone,
I’m selling a Wilwood Forged Dynalite Big Brake Front Hub Kit (Part # 140-7675-D). This is the version with the Black 4-piston calipers and the 12.19" drilled and slotted rotors. I believe the cost for the kit new is around $1,300 from Wilwood. I am asking $875 plus shipping or best offer. Located in Nashville.
The History / Condition: My builder installed this kit on a rolling frame as a mock-up, but it was never actually driven or used to stop a car. Because it was bolted up and taken back off, the aluminum hubs have some marring/scuffing on them (see pictures). Once the rotors and wheels are mounted, I don't believe you won’t see these marks, and I don't believe it will impact functionality, but I want to be 100% upfront about the condition before anyone buys and I am happy to provide as many pictures as possible. There are parts such as the Calipers, pads and bolt kits that are still in the original packaging and have never been opened.
FROM MY UNDERSTANDING, THIS IS WHAT I CAN TELL YOU ABOUT THE KIT. Please refer to the pictures or the Wilwood site for more information.
What It Fits: This kit bolts right up to factory disc, factory drum, and aftermarket drop spindles for the following:
1964–1972 GM A-Body: Chevelle, El Camino, Malibu, GTO, LeMans, Cutlass, Skylark
1967–1969 GM F-Body: Camaro, Firebird
1968–1974 GM X-Body: Nova, Chevy II, Ventura
What’s Missing: Because it was a mock-up kit, a few of the small hardware pieces went missing when it was disassembled. From my understanding, you will need to order the following from Wilwood or Summit/Jegs to complete the installation and I beleive the cost would be between $50-$100 - I have added a picture of the kit components on the Wilwood website and added red boxes to the small parts I don't believe I have:
5x Wheel Studs: Wilwood Part # Code:230-15369
(for a 10-pack of 1/2"-20 x 1.75" long studs)
12x Washers: Wilwood Part # Code:240-11240
(.265" I.D. x .500" O.D. x .063" Thick)
2x Rotor Registration Adapters (Hub Centric Rings): Wilwood Part # Code:300-11901
(Note: These might actually be stuck inside the hubs I am sending you, but I am listing them as missing just in case so there are no surprises! I believe you can see them in the hub pictures)
Everything else (calipers, brackets, drilled/slotted rotors, pads, etc.) is here.
Because of the missing hardware and the marred hubs, I’m pricing this to move at $875 + shipping. I am located in Nashville and can accomodate a local pickup with a deposit.
