I'm getting ready to install the Baer Brake Sport system on my 75 Camaro. Since this kit requires changing the spindles, I decided to replace the control arm bushings/UCA at the same time. Planning on using the GW tubular upper control arms, with Del -A-Lums for the uppers and lowers (stock lower control arms). Hard to believe but the car still has the original rubber bushings installed.
I've searched this site and read the advantages of using the GW uppers and Del-A-Lums, but I was wondering if there are any disadvantages of using them?
This is a street drive car, but not a daily driver. I plan to visit the track some day, but not on a regular basis.
Current suspension:
Hotchkis springs
Blistein shocks
Factory front and rear sway bars
16" wheels
frame conectors (welded)
poly subframe and sway bar bushings
Thanks,
Mike
