Have a 1970 K5 Blazer and want to use a 67-68 C-10 Hood style that is made for a 69-72 K5 Blazer. I like the style of the slanted hood better than the flat square looking one. Many companies, LMC, ECKLERS, etc make them but which company out there has the best reputation for fitment? I understand nothing is perfect but got to think some companies are better than others? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

LMC and Ecklers don’t make anything. They are simply resellers and generally can buy from any manufacturer. Most of the manufacturers are in Taiwan but AMD, OER, Dynacorn, Keystone are common suppliers of parts.

As said, pretty much all of the repro steel stamping is offshore now. Fiberglass though, still has a good amount of US production. Glasstek and vfn has the most consistent fiberglass stuff ive seen.

I'm not 100% positive but I believe there is only one manufacturer of the hood your asking about. But to confirm give Wes at Classic Heartbeat a call. Wes is a good guy and will give you the straight scoop.
