Life has gotten in the way of this project, it is time to let someone else finish it. 80% complete. I have all parts needed to finish the car. 1972 Chevelle 2 dr coupe on Schwartz G-Machine chassis (the only thing that is 1972 on this car is the body). Chassis has 14” Baer brakes on all corners, upgraded coilovers, modified 9” rear end, and power rack and pinion steering. The engine is new (except for GenV block) and professionally built. It is a 496 inch Big Block Chevy with roller valve train and camshaft. Aluminum heads, Moroso electric water pump, serpentine belt system, Holley ignition and HP-EFI system for 850hp (engine estimated at 700hp on pump gas). Engine paired with new T56 magnum 6 speed (2 overdrives). Transmission was upgraded for durability by dealer before delivery. Short throw shifter and McLeod hydraulic dual-disc clutch and 1000hp driveshaft. Body is mini-tubbed which required a new fuel tank. Fuel tank is stainless steel, has high flow pump and filter in tank. I don’t remember the brand but it has Pontiac style rallye wheels in 18” diameter with Pirelli tires. I have all the stainless exhaust components, I am not skilled enough to weld it myself and had trouble finding someone to do the work (that would do an awesome job). Vintage Air conditioner and heater, push button starter, Dakota Digital gauge pack with all the bells and whistles, and 3 supplemental Glowshift gauges. The body is good, quarter have been repaired (before I got the car), I replaced cowl shoulders, and cabin and trunk floor pans. Custom trans tunnel front to back. Doors have rust damage. I have original era fenders, but I bought one new show-grade fender because the right one was very rusty. Firewall has been flattened. Passenger side drip rail has been shaved, driver’s side is about 1/2 done. I built storage and upholstery base in the back seat area because with mini-tubs I would have had to cut up both rear seat pieces and for me only the dog would be back there anyway. Corbeau seats up front with lumbar pump. Aftermarket column. I have the original steel hood but it won’t fit with the current engine position. I have all the glass and regulators and all original interior trims and seats. I have spent well over $100K on this, plus worked thousands of hours on it. I hate to see it go but my wife and I are retiring in Alaska and this is not a good car for us there. I am asking $80,000… make my loss your gain.
I also have 350 gallons of Swift UL94 unleaded fuel (98 octane, pure petroleum (no alcohol) that I will sell for $6/gallon (55 gallon minimum purchase, you supply the drum)
