hi all,
this is my pro touring mk2 cortina.
heres a run down of the mods ,
full custom chassis
jaguar xj40 running gear ( narrowed 11" )
coilovers all round
3.5 rover v8 engine
mazda rx8 gearbox
holley 650
single t4/t3 turbo
20x7" front wheels with 215x30x20" tyres
22x12 1/2" rear wheels with 335x25x22" tyres
roof chopped 3 1/2" and screen laid back 4"
rear arches extended 3"
painted yamaha purple pearl

part way through a bit of a revamp and i still have the bonnet stripe to paint in the new accent colour so hence pics in black and white . once that is painted this weekend i will get some colour pics on .

hi larry, no problem . i am in the uk .
after a quick spin yesterday i decided that the front could go a little lower as i do like the car to have a nice nose down stance . the rear of the sill in front of the rear wheel is 4 1/2" of the floor and the front of the sill is 3 1/4" so has a really nice rake to the front .215623215624

just prepped the bonnet which is the last bit on the out side of the car for paint , get it painted tomorrow and then i will put some colour pics on on wednesday .

Big Purple........ I like purple, the fairs in the 60's-80's had the bright colored cars with the metal flake in them, went around in a circle had a annoying horn, flashing lights! the purple one was always my favorite, so I come to see a purple car and I get black and white's, talking about disappointment, LOL

Interesting car, huge wheels, where in the UK?? I'll wait for the colors,

ok , ok colour pic,s . heres the engine bay as it is now . as well as revamping the out side and the running in the new year i am going to change some stuff in the engine . the exhaust wrap wants redoing in black and the turbo boot , the waste gate pipes want merging into one and dumping into the down pipe and the front intake pipe wants to go over the exhaust instead of underneath it . also the breather catch can wants moving to the rear of the car. so still loads to do and thats without changing the colour of the roll cage .215625215626215627
