I’m looking to move my oil pressure sensor to the front of the block and my oil temp by the cooler adapter.

looking around, I see the M16 to 1/8 NPT adapters from $8 to upwards of $30! Are these all created equal? I really like the motion works “appearance”, but $28 seems like a lot!

China vs US made, so no. The Motion is made with quality material, quality machining, quality seals in the USA. If you have an issue, it's a phone call (that will be answered by someone with product knowledge) away. So again, not even remotely close to equal. Why would you consider putting a cheap Chinese part on an expensive engine?

How do you even know what’s USA made or not these days…honestly it’s an adapter, I don’t think I’ll be needing tech support lol.

Motioworks doesn’t even tell you what type of aluminum it’s made from?

I've had issues with no name adapters that were missing chunks of threads or tapped to deep to get pipe threads to seal.

If you have an old oil pressure sensor you can drill and tap it yourself. I made one for this car and haven't had any issues after 2 years running around.

The part that you linked to shows as $17? I know that I bought a kit of brass adapters from someone (can't remember who) and as soon as I went to tighten up the sensor in the fitting, the fitting ripped right in two! The Motion Race Works part that was linked to looks pretty beefy to me.

I used this one from Earls, made in USA of 2024-T8 aluminum.

Used a different crush washer that I could feel compressing once it became snug.
