anodizing paint?

hey guys, I remember a while back a discussion around here somewhere about spray anodizing paint. Can you guys tell me a little about it? does it work pretty much just like normal spray paint, i.e can you mask off parts of the surface and not have it bleed under or anything? What's the name of it, again?

Do a search for Alsa Corporation. They have a bunch of stuff like this. Pretty cool paint but real $pendy...
