Not sure what to make of them owning DSE and Speedtech.

I wonder how that'll work out with JRI? I know DSE used JRI for their suspension, but being QA1 is in the same game, maybe the kits will now come with QA1 shocks....

That would be a real shame imo. JRI shocks are superior in my experience.

That didn't last long. So did Holley get an offer they or did they decide it didn't align well with their core business, or couldn't grow DSE and chose to spin it off?

Speedtech used to use JRI & Viking.. when QA1 bought them last Jan, they quit using Viking entirely and switched to QA1 (makes sense if you know their story), and will still do JRI upon request.
I assume they'll do the same with DSE & offer QA1 shocks as standard equip.

I know that Holley put it up for sale. Why? That I don't know.

Crazy,how the corporations are.taking over.the small companies.
I wonder how the quality of both of these will be in the future.

That's always my concern. Big company buys little company. Big company now has debt, which increases COGS, so now big company cuts corners to try and increase profit margin without increasing sale price. Product now sucks...

I miss the smaller tight knit individual companies with their own specific brand identity. Now when you go to SEMA it's mainly mega umbrella corporations. Holleys both is insane.

This is going to be a good thing for DSE, QA1, and Speedtech.
