DSE replacement gas shocks

Hi, I have DSE billet hood hinges. I need to replace the gas shocks. Any help on who sells a comparable replacement? The hinges hold a stock 2" cowl steel hood. Thanks!

Did you ever find shocks that work? Same boat here. Need to replace them.

No. Very frustrating. I will try DSE even though they don't sell them anymore. Aarrggh!

Hi, Called DSE today. Took awhile but here is what they told me. The shocks/struts can be purchased from MightyLift. You will have to find the part number. Mine is on a medium blue sticker that can only be read if the shock is removed. They also told me the Ring brothers have shocks that fit. I looked on their website and found black and stainless. But here again, you need the info off the blue sticker. As I prefer the stainless, I am going to check with the Ring boys first. Hope this helps. Take care, Bobby Klein
