Hello Everybody!!
I am trying to decide on my seats for my 1966 Impala project..i can buy original seats but I do want to add some new age to the car..I currently have a TPI 355 Motor,Digital Speedo/tach,Air Ride with Digital controller...I have an chance to buy a complete 2002 Cadillac DeVille Interior with the heated seats, lumbar control and so forth...also with the door panels..I am pretty sure I can retro this into my wagon but do you think this idea is a little too far "OUT THERE"..i am building this car with the best possible ride that I can afford..we usually travel to Pigeon Forge TN for vacation every year and want to drive this down there....What do you think..SEATS or PASS...Also here are some current pics...Frame should be in POR-15 by Wednesday...Thanks ..By the way that's the wife in the pics helping out..GOTTA LOVE HER!!!!

Well you know how the ladies are..the hair is the most important part of the presentation...she just didnt want her hair to be breathing in all that dust....HAHA...good one....I can get the seats for under $300 in excellent shape....A freind of mine was a cadillac tech and he said that cadillac sseats are so comfy that he thinks that what makes the caddies ride so nice.....

Sounds like a great project. I vote for the caddy interior as well. Old cars with modern interior really stand out. Plus it makes the ride to the shows much better. :)

Well the deal is sealed..I won the seats on E-bay..$250 but wait there's more...the driver and passenger as well as the back seats are heated..;It looks as though the console has rear heat and controls and both front seats have the lumbar support...The front seats have air bags so i wil have to overcome that hurdle but a friend of mine is a caddie tech so it should not be a problem...As soon as I get the seats i will take some pics...I also purchased a overhead console from a late model truck(02 Tohoe i think)..it has digital compass(for those times when your lost) a digital temperature gauge as well as the overhead storage and lights...all for the low E-bay price of $24.95.....and it will work well in my wagon because it's very long and will offer the rear passengers courtesy lights and overhead storage....pics coming soon....

Good. Congrats. If the install comes out anything like the Olds Aurora seat swap in Bill Howell's GTO, you will be very happy.

Some new pictures of the Cadillac seats....Well here are the new seats and door panels out of the 2002 DeVille that we are going to put in the 66 Impala wagon...The frame should be painted soon and the air ride shold be installed also...What does anybody think about boxing in the factory control arms for a little extra support?????
