Hey there,

I have a 67 Camaro with the DSE subframe and minitub/Quadra-link/9" DSE Moser rear end. According to the DSE catalog, this will accommodate 18x9 front, 18x11 rear. The tire sizes are 255/35ZR18 front, 315/30ZR18 rear. I purchased Forgeline RB3C rims at the above sizes.

I am looking for advice from you. According to Tire Rack size calculator, the only tires available in these sizes are the Yokohama Advan A052 or the Falken Azenis RT660. Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 are available for the rear, but not the front. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S is available for the front, but not the rear.

I am hesitant to 'mix and match', as these tires are usually designed to work together. The car will be 99% street, so that was my attraction to the Michelins in the first place.

Do y'all have any thoughts on options? Getting different rims is not on the table.

Thanks in advance, fellas.

Look at 265/35R18 for the front. You can get these in the Michelin PS2s. They're 0.2 inches taller and about half an inch wider, and will go on a 9 inch rim.

Incidentally, https://tiresize.com is a great little tool for finding alternative sizes. It also has a visualizer to let you "see" what the difference will be.

Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02 is a better tire for your use case than anyone that you listed.

Run 295s in the back....either 30 or 35.....I personally would run the 35 series tire in the rear.

R888's? I have a 315/35/17 in the rear, but I don't know if they make the fronts for you.

Thanks so much for the guidance, Don. The Continentals scored best on the Tire Rack comparison video, the PS 4S were close.

Thanks so much, the visualizer is an awesome tool. Thanks for pointing it out, I am going to spend probably entirely too much time looking at it.

A 255/40R18 front and 295/35R18 rear gives you a number of choices including the Continental Sport 02 Donny mentioned. They'd be the same height front/rear too.
