Couple of questions for the OE Buick folks

Very close to getting this 69 Skylark back running but can’t identity a couple of things.
There’s a threaded bung on the top of the aluminum pump housing

There’s also this loose connector that broke away from the wire harness. I can’t find a home for it

Can't answer on the water pump but the wire looks an awful lot like an air conditioner clutch power wire.

Does your water pump not have that hole? It could be for a different year/model as I've identified all of the other wire harness connections.

I've not owned an old Buick for almost 40 years, when I had a 72 Skylark. I only answered because the wire looked familiar.
