This is my 1972 GMC C15 that was originally purchased by my Dad new, in 1973. Still on the dealer lot. He said everyone else want the new body style coming out. I'm pretty happy with this one. It was a long bed Sierra Grande. Two tone white with yellow. It had a 402 BBC TH400. The lovey wood grain interior, with no Tach. I have been through a few different setups with this truck, Starting with just a fresh rebuild/cam/intake/headers of the 402. Drove it around then let it sit. Pulled that motor out and put a 383 SBC out of my 79 Camaro Z28. Used a Sniper EFI on it. I also redid alot of work on the truck at that time. Cab corner and lower rocker panels. Shortened the bed and frame with the Brothers kit. Used CPP front control arms, and converted the rear suspension from leaf spring to CPP trailing arms. Relocated the cab fuel tank to the rear, using a Boyds welding fuel tank.

The last conversion was to a 5.3 LM7 with a 4l60e using a FITEch setup. I also installed a frame stiffener at the time the engine was out. Very happy I did that. Running QA1 single adjustable shocks in the front and QA1 double adjustable shocks in the rear.

Brakes are Lil Shop MFG 14" Wilwoods in the front, with 12 CPP rear disc conversion in the rear. Running Wilwood master cylinder on a hydroboost with an adjustable proportioning valve

Frame stiffener from Summit Racing. I don't believe they carry it anymore. I really like the way it installed and the way the truck feels with it. It did make a big difference in rigidity

Thanks. It's a work in progress. Fun to do some details, but trying not to be to tacky.

I took some more time to work in my engine bay. I never really liked the mounting brackets for the hydroboost, so removed those and got a flush mount bracket. It did work, but I had to do a little firewall massaging to make the rear of the hydroboost fit in the brake booster hole. I also had to shorten the rod connected to the brake pedal. I am still using the original hole and the brake pedal. It seems fine.

After relocation of the master cylinder unit to the firewall, I decided to change my boost lines to stainless. I had seen these lines on Big 10 Garage trucks and really liked the way they looked. I took a bit a learning what I had to use to deal with stainless lines. I invested in a Ridgid 37 degree flaring tool, tubing straightener, several different AN connections, and a good tubing bender for 3/8.

Fantastic job on Warhawk! I love working on these old Chevy trucks as each can have a really cool story or theme, and I really like how you had a theme and you stayed true to it.

Thanks, I pieced it out with 4" carbon fiber tubing/elbow off of Amazon. Cut it down to length
