I know the front seats are capable of working in a 69. What about the rear seats? Have most of you just re-upolstered your 69 rear seats or will a 4th gen rear seat package fit? Any photos?

The 4th gen seats will work, but the bottoms are a little thick, and there is a space around all the back seats. It looks better to have the rears recovered in the same material, but the 4th gens will work.
Thanks Scott

jumpmaster,
You can see pics of my interior here. There are a lot of pics so let them all load then come back and check it out. http://www.adfabdesign.com/Illusion/Interior%20Page/Interior.html
After I installed the fully functional 3 point seat belts. The rear seat folds down too.

You can always use the bottom part of the 4th gen seats, then recover your factory top half to match. That way you dont have the gap.

Thanks for the pics! That was what I needed to see. Also thanks for the tips about combining new and old. I was just planning on recover the original back seat, but combining the two may work. I guess I need to put the side by side to see....now to go buy some 4th gen rear seats. Thanks again guys and thanks for the pictures. Give me a call Tenn. Auto so i can check your inventory. How did you install the rear belts? Did you do that recently, I don't remember them being there last I looked?

I think I installed those seat belts about 1 or 2 years ago. Mabey longer. They were a lot easier than the front belts. I used to have all the pics of the install on my old site but it crashed a couple years ago and I lost all the install pics.

Thanks for the reply. If you ever get a chance to take new pics, I would appreciate it. The rear seat back I have still has one belt still attached to it and I am trying to figure out if I can install them in my 77 before I go looking for a whole set.

That looks really nice. This would be a great option for those that want the 4th gen look but dont want to modify their car to fit rear buckets. :twothumbs
