Sparco Seats too TALL

Putting a pair of sparcos in 66 Chevelle. I want the bolster, like the seats and support, but hate the height.
Anyone ever cut a set of seats down to make a high back into a low back? Were you pleased with the results?

cut them down. Ended up adding some to the sides.
