has anybody put 18inch or 19inch bmw wheels staggered on their 68-72 cutlass?
or 1973 to 1977 Pontiac LeMans?

This guy ran M5 wheels on a Chevelle, would be pretty similar to a 68-72 Cutty. You'd just have to run spacers to get the fitment right. There are varying opinions on the safety of 5x120 vs 1x120.65 lug spacing so you'd have to do your homework on that but in general they would vit on the hub. also added a link to a Chevelle forum where they talk about it.

of also, I think you can get Wobble lug nuts where the cone kind of floats and will seat on the wheel correctly even with the slight discrepancy in lug pattern.

I ran 17x8 and 18x10 BMW wheels on my 66 Chevelle for a while. I used spacers that changed the bolt pattern by the .065” that there off. Zero issues.214581
