Travis,
Is this mild steel or 4130 and what size? What type of bender are you using? It's certainly a different approach.

Mild steel, 1.75" and a little 2" I'm using a JD2 bender with hydro

Travis,
how much effort does it take to bend the tubing that you are using (with the JD2) ? Also, does it "kink" the tubing ?

WE also have a JD2 bender with the Enerpac hydro on it and it works really well i can bend a .120 wall 1.5 tube in a 180 and there is virtually no distorsion. the thinner stuff might deform a bit but it works well

Yup, a full 180 with virtually no distortion. and almost no effort pulling the hydro lever :D

I ran it without hydro for awhile, and damn that was alot of work.
