Tach signal 5v (lsa) run 69 Camaro tach

Is there a sort of easy way to turn my 5v wire into the correct power and pulse to work 69 Camaro tach? I looked at Dakota digital stuff but I don’t need speed or anything. Just my tach to work?

Try connecting a 4.7k ohm resistor from the tach line to switched 12 volts. If it’s erratic try 1k ohm. 1/4 watt resistor is fine.

If I understand the ls and ecm(e67) the white tach wire is .5v
Plus it’s in 4 cyl mode? (I think) does the resistor fix both issues? I saw a Dakota digital makes an adapter thing. But one more small box to wire in I don’t have space for??

The resistor will not fix the 4 cylinder issue. It just makes the tach signal 12 volts.

I think you will need the Dakota Digital box.
