Well I finally chose my final restoration project, lol. Back in the day I owned a few Chevelles and a Monte Carlo. I loved the GM A-Body platform and have many fond memories, hence the choice in vehicles. I have restored a few cars in my day and when it came to chosing this project, I knew I couldn't go wrong with a 70 Chevelle. My plans for the car are pretty mild for now, they may change. I am doing a rotisserie restoration of the body. Upgrading the steering suspension and brakes to manage betwen 400-600whp. I look forward to your comments, and I will definately pick your brains for your experiences with your builds. Hopefully shortcutting the time and cost I spend getting to my happy place.

The clutch drops now... or sorry the puck drops now... forgetting I'm in Canada already:)

I'm located in Calgary. I was born and spent most of my life in southern Ontario. Any luck on sourcing parts in your neck of the woods. I am trying to find a 12 bolt series 3 posi and a set of 3.55's but I know it will be a challenge:)

thanks,
Mike

I hit kijiii almost daily ...sometimes I find good deals. As for a 3 series 3.55 id say set up a notification on kijii for them here in Ontario if they're close to me I could grab them for you
