There is a rod shop I use about 45 min away and he is a Vintage Air dealer, so he's getting a unit for me for a few $$ cheaper on shipping.

As a Vintage Air dealer we always suggest trying to buy from a dealer, whether local or not. You will inevitably have install questions and the knowledgeable dealer you bought it from would be happy to answer your questions. Your plan is solid!

I am having Vintage Air installed on my car this winter by the rod shop I use who is a dealer for them. That way I know if something needs attention they will be more than willing to fix it. They saved me shipping fees by including my order with others.
